Here are a few notes about me…

I was raised on a farm on the northeastern plains of Colorado and that upbringing gave me a great love of America's vast open landscapes. Over the years it has been my desire to photograph these amazing views, along with the many details that they contain, and share them with others. I enjoy photographing these scenes and I am glad to be able to share them with you.

I have been involved with photography for the last 30+ years. My first photography job was on an archeological site that was run by the Smithsonian Institution and funded by National Geographic Society. I was the site photographer. I was employed for several years as a contractor with the Department of Energy and did video productions for the field office that oversaw the Sandia, Los Alamos and most of the other National Labs. Later I was employed by the state's largest Community College, running the Audiovisual Department and, also, teaching introductory and intermediate photography classes for the school's Emeritus Academy.

After I retired I became more serious about photography. I participated in many professional level training sessions and workshops. Over the last five years I have had works entered in the NM State Fair (Professional Division), the juried Annual NM Photographic Art Show (ANMPAS), annual juried exhibitions at the Albuquerque Photographers Gallery, and juried shows at the New Mexico Art League and the Cathedral Gallery of St. John. I sell my works at art fairs in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and other area around New Mexico.

I have been a member of the Enchanted Lens Camera Club for several years. In addition, I provide training in photography, Mac computers, Photoshop, Lightroom, PowerPoint and Keynote to groups and individuals.
